การใช้ "on time" กับ "in time" ว่าต่างกันยังไงบ้างมาให้ทบทวนกันครับ เผื่อถึงที่โรงเรียน ที่้ทำงาน หรือมหาลัยแล้วจะได้ใช้สองคำนี้ถูกกันครับ
● in time ใช้กับ เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นก่อนเวลาที่กำหนด พูดง่ายๆ คือ เกิดทันเวลานั่นเอง with enough time to spare; before the last moment:
- I got home just in time to watch the TV news. - Our flight was delayed and we didn't reach the office in time.
● on time ใช้กับ เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นตรงตามเวลาถูกระบุไว้ก่อนแล้ว เช่น ตารางเวลารถ หรือการนัดหมายต่างๆ at the planned time; neither late nor early:
- The bus arrived on time. - Peter wants the meeting to start exactly on time.
